Obituary for Kim Robinson

Kim Robinson, 63, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by his family on April 4, 2016.
Born May 3, 1952 son of Thomas M. Russell III and Marie (Topazio) Robinson and the late John G. Robinson. Kim graduated from Duxbury High School in 1970 and was an Air Force Veteran.
Kim is survived by two children. His daughter Heidi (Robinson) Whipple and her husband Jason of Plymouth, his grandchildren Samuel, Benjamin and Adeline; Peter Robinson and his wife Michelle of Pembroke and grandson Curtis. Kim is also survived by his brother Mark Robinson and his wife Winnie of Kingston, nieces Katherine and Meghan; his brother Bill Robinson and his wife Therese of Plymouth, nephew Will and niece Shannon; his sister Amy (Robinson) Lawson and her husband Christopher of Plymouth and nieces Lilienne and Evalina (his Goddaughter); his brother Thomas M. Russell, IV and wife Peggy of Guilford CT; his sister Suzanne (Russell) Snell of Colorado; and his cherished dog Charlie.
Kim loved his family and was a gracious host for many memorable family gatherings. Anyone who would stop by “Camp Kimba” was always greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome in his home. He had a great sense of adventure and was happiest heading out on his Harley with his brother and good friends or on his boat for a relaxing day on the water. A gifted carpenter and mechanic, Kim was capable of building a custom home or repairing any engine. A devoted father and grandfather, he cherished his time with his children and beloved grandchildren who called him “Papa.”
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 8th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9th 2:00 PM at Bartlett Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
