Ditchfield, Judith (Wood), passed away at the Country Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Newburyport, MA, on June 12 at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 3, 1939 and raised in Plymouth, MA, by the late Alba A. and Elizabeth G. Wood. She graduated from Plymouth High School and worked for several years at the Plymouth Town Hall and in later in the field of Addiction and Recovery.
She was most recently a resident of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where she has lived for the last 12 years. Her husband Stephen passed away in September of 2015. Judith is survived by their children and families including Kevin and Johanna Cheney, Scott Cheney, Kevin and Beth Hynes, Stephen Ditchfield and his wife Jodi, Debra Infiorati and her husband Jeff, David Ditchfield and his wife Sarah, and their grandchildren, Riley, Lucy, Lily, Payton, Stephen, Grace, Jessica, Daniel, Jennifer, and Blake.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visiting hours will be held this Friday, June 17, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
