Condolence: Etta was a beloved part of my family in the early 70's up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She was a beautiful Wild Child and I know her spirit is soaring, Wild and Free.

Condolence: I met Etta when she first opened her shop.... and we went on many great adventures after that... collaborating for her business or a campaign or the Stop The OutFall Pipe... Arlo stills owes money!.. You taught me a lot Etta and your spirit and determination were fierce! You'll be remembered... keep going strong.

Condolence: I had the honor of interviewing Etta a long time ago, for some school article I was writing (CCCC.) Her passion and knowledge was so enormous, she was intimidating. I looked up to her all these years. Shocked to see her obituary. I still expect to see her make the paper for her activism. Thank you for everything you've done, Etta.

Condolence: My heartfelt condolence to all who were blessed with knowing Etta. My accauantance is through the Democratic Party and I truly appreciated here involvement ,I am a Vietnam Veteran and I appreciate her dedication to the cause of protecting us from continuing the conflict , May peace be on your threshold,So long Friend.

Condolence: I first met Etta when I lived next door to her in West Dennis (in the big Victorian home.) She was always a unique character, full of life, full of ideas, with a strong moral compass. I was fortunate to work with her later in life through our arts and cultural promotions on the Cape - and she was always a strong supporter of the fragile and beautiful place we call home. I will miss her.

Condolence: Etta was my account for many years with the Cape Cod Times but she became so much more to me A teacher,a sounding board and most importantly an amazing friend I am blessed to have known her and to have several of her artistic pieces of jewelry Etta will always live in my heart and her courage is a inspiration to all I know she is surrounded now by peace and love

Condolence: Etta's passing is a loss for all who share her vision for a better community, state, nation and world. I have known Etta for decades, having served as a Democratic State Committee (DSC) member since 1976. When Etta was elected to the DSC, I found a "kindred spirit", sharing what is best in politics and life. Always, I will remember the joy of being in the presence of Etta!

Condolence: As a young teacher at Wixon Middle School in the early 70's I was eager to have my students aware of the community of artists living among us. Etta gave her time generously visiting my classroom and sharing her knowledge with my students.Her generous giving of her time will always be cherished and remembered.

Condolence: A patriot with principle and passion and care and kindness...she loved her nation, the world, her family, and friends...She was artist, activist, party leader, mensch, aunt, sister, daughter, friend...Her example stays with us in our hearts as we move forward trying to make the world a better place until we see her again..RIP Etta! Condolence: Dear Etta, So many memories, so many journeys. The bush trips, Opal festivals and then lazing about enjoying a good cheese, wine and laughs. Condolence: My Dear Etta, You have touched me in so many ways that you will always be a light of hope and magic in my memories of you. Most of all, as I weep for you, I remember your shining smile and your incredible love and compassion towards life. I am so happy that my husband and children got to know you before your journey with cancer, which true to being you, that you took on with an unimaginable force and grace for living despite what life throws at you.

Condolence: I met Etta through Democratic Party activities on Cape Cod. She was not only a lovely artist, but a lovely human being as well. She was a faithful feminist, as am I, and she will be so missed!

Condolence: Oh , my Etta. My heart is so heavy to hear of your passing. I so enjoyed our time together with Barbara when we chatted and laughed. You always made me feel warm and welcome and not just a customer. I always cherished my visits at the store. Your artistic abilities and your passion in whatever you touched to do will forever be admired by me. Stephen and I wish to tell you that we shall meet again. Farewell for now, dear Etta. Condolence: Etta was the godmother of us all. Her wisdom and influence will continue to be with us. I can't imagine not being able to talk to her and listen to her insight. She will be missed.

Condolence: My Ms. Ettaleh! We were buddies. In addition to being from "down south" in Massachusetts, we were Democratic State Committee members together, both serving in the 2000 Electoral College - " shondeh that election!", we hung out together in Philly at the 2016 national convention even sharing meds, we were both lovers of flashy bling, we yakked yiddish with each other go figure, and we mutually commiserated about our battles with The Big C. I visited her last summer and we joked about who would win the race to die first: "I'm gonna croak first! No you're not, I AM! You always try to one-up me! Shut up and try on this ring!" Morbid yes, but it made us laugh til it hurt. I love you and I will miss you, my Ms. Ettaleh.

Etta captivated me the moment we met at a Democratic State Committee meeting with her larger than life personality, demand that I support the issue of the moment (long ago forgotten) that she was advocating, and a strong suggestion I contemplate buying some of her jewelry.
