Hilda A. Patchett Almeida of Plymouth, MA, died peacefully at age 79 on May 14, 2012 at Radius Healthcare Center, Plymouth, MA.
Born in Plymouth, November 23, 1932, daughter of the late Edmond and Mary Costa of North Plymouth. She was educated in Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth H.S. class of 1950.
For many years Hilda worked at Plymouth town hall in the clerks office where she retired. Friends and family were closest to her heart. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Hilda was the loving mother of Gary (Christine) Almeida of Plymouth, Steven (Deirdra) Almeida of Springhill, FL, Cathleen Almeida of Plymouth and Laurie (Michael) Haslam of Springhill, FL.
Hilda also leaves behind many grandchildren, John Almeida, Jill Almeida, Matthew Almeida, Michael Haslam, Kayla Almeida and Marc Haslam and two great grandchildren, Tyler Almeida and Dylan Almeida.
Arrangements will be made by the Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at St Mary's church, 327 Court Street, Plymouth on Saturday, May 19 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
