Obituary for Steven P Solomon
Steven Paul Solomon, of Middleboro, passed away on October 10, 2020, at age 66 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was the son of the late Francis M. Solomon and Mary Alice DeJoseph. He was the grandson to the late Eva Solomon and nephew to his Aunt Joanne, Aunt Barbara, Uncles Vern & Dick along with their wives Jane and Jackie.
Stevie grew up in Pembroke and graduated from South Shore Vocational Technical High School in 1972.
An avid horseshoe thrower, candlepin bowler, and fisherman, Stevie never stopped moving and loved being outside. Quick with a joke, zinger, or hilarious story, Stevie had his family and friends in stitches constantly. He was a proud Boston sports fan. Stevie had the biggest heart, and always gave his unvarnished opinion, whether it was asked for or not. He loved his bird, Big Bird and his aquarium fish.
Stevie is survived by his son, Steven Solomon-Skaff, of Wareham, his mother, Mary Alice DeJoseph and husband Tulio DeJoseph of Fall River, his brother Eddie and wife Michelle of Plymouth, his aunt Joanne of Brockton, his cousins Kevin Solomon and wife Pam of Middleboro and Joseph Solomon and wife Kerrie of Bridgewater, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Services are under the care of Bartlett Funeral Home. visitation will take place Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA 02360.
