Obituary for Andrea May Wojcik (Caldon)

Andrea Wojcik, 62, of Norton, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of the late Genevra (Pye) and Robert Caldon. Andrea grew up in Wrentham, and graduated from King Philip High School in 1976. After graduating from high school, she went to work at Bank of America, formerly Bank of Boston, where she worked for many years. In her later years, Andrea worked for Longhorn Steakhouse in Mansfield. She worked there for over 7 years and loved her colleagues like they were family.

Andrea had many passions in life, not the least of which was spending time with her family and more recently, her granddaughter. She loved shopping, going to the beach, crafting and as she would say, “doing little things”.

Andrea was a loving mother to her two daughters, Michelle Wojcik and Matt Ridge of Duxbury, Alison Wojcik and Jacob Boivin of Norton. She also leaves behind her long-time boyfriend David Shade, Sr. of Norton. She was "Dandy" to her only granddaughter, Bria May Ridge. She is survived by her siblings: Barbara Lewin and her husband Dale, and Eric Caldon and his wife Lori. Her loss will be felt by many others, including the father of her daughters, David Wojcik and her best friend Heidi Tibert.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29th from 4-6 pm. Interment will be private.
