Obituary for Anthony Dennis Vale

Anthony “Dennis” Vale, 75, passed away on August 6 at his home in Plymouth, MA after a battle with
pancreatic cancer.

Dennis was born in Brighton, MA, began his early Catholic education at St. Collumbkille grade school,
and later moved to Foxboro and graduated from Foxboro High School in 1966. He served his country
proudly during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy aboard the USS Denebola AF-56.
After honorable discharge from active duty, Dennis trained and was accepted into the Sprinkler Fitters
Local 550 Union where he commenced a nearly 30 year career working new construction in and around
Boston.

Surviving family members include his wife Karen “Brinson” Vale, his son Tim Vale and daughter-in-law
Patricia Vale of Guilford, CT and his much-adored grandchildren Kaitlyn Vale, Lyndsey Vale and Rachel
Vale also of Guilford. He leaves behind two brothers Steven Vale and wife Sherry of Mansfield, MA and
Michael Vale and wife Anne Marie of North Smithfield RI. His two sisters are Peggy DeBoy and husband
Jim of Odenton MD and Maureen Keefe and husband Tom of Rockland MA.

He leaves behind a large group of nieces and nephews that he loved and enjoyed: Billy Burton, Bill
Wierling, Bob Wierling, Jen Mailhiot, Ricky Cox, Danny Cox, Missy Kane, John DeBoy, Mark DeBoy,
Kristen Caminiti, Kathleen Vale, Patrick Vale and Andrea Vale.

Predeceased family members are his son Brian Vale whom he loved dearly and missed every day since
1995, his sister Mary Vale, mother Mary “Murphy” Vale, father Anthony Vale, niece Elizabeth Vale and
nephew Joseph Vale.

Calling hours will be from 4 – 6 pm on Wednesday August 10 at Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth and
a Memorial Service at 10 am on Thursday August 11 at Saint Kateri in Plymouth.
