Obituary for Barbara Ellen Butters (Collins)
Barbara E (Collins) Butters,80, of Mashpee, MA passed away on October 26, 2020.
She was born in Dorchester, MA May 20, 1940 to the late Bernard and Agnes Collins. She is survived by her spouse Paul Butters and her five children; Linda (and Tim) Walsh, Nancy (and David) Holt, Trish (and Chuck) Hart all of west Barnstable, Susan Butters-Peterson and companion (Michael Hollister) of Yarmouth, and son James (and Kristin) Butters of Yonkers, New York. She is also survived by her siblings and spouses Bern and Margaret Collins, Paul and Ginny Collins, John Collins and the late James (and Elaine) Collins.
Barbara was raised and graduated from Norwood high in 1958. Her greatest joy was spending time with her 11 grandchildren. Barbara and Paul retired to Southport in Mashpee and enjoyed all the Cape activities, boating, golfing and many family get togethers. Barbara was known for her generosity, her sixth sense and her witty sense of humor.
A Funeral Mass has been scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, November 28th at Christ the King Church, Mashpee MA 02649
