Obituary for Carol M Trotto

Carol Trotto, 80, passed away on 4/26/21 surrounded by her children, grandchildren, sisters, and
friends.

She is survived by her three children Jacqueline Taylor, John Trotto and Lisa Propati, her grandchildren
Johnny Trotto, Alexandra Trotto, Nickolas Gazzola, Dante Gazzola and Parker Feddy. She is also survived
by her two sisters Marilyn Mandella and Linda Mandella.

She was born in Worcester, MA but moved to the Cape to raise her 3 children. In her later years she
split her time between Florida and the Cape. She loved life, the Cape, the ocean, and partying with her
friends, but more than everything she loved her children and grandchildren. Her favorite response to
the frequent proclamations of love was “I love you more”.

Carol’s first cancer diagnoses was over 40 years ago. She battled long and hard against every subsequent
diagnosis. Given her age at the time of her passing, she clearly won the war. Carol taught everyone who
knew her what resilience and perseverance looks like. Giving up was never an option. Throughout her
battles she kept her sense of humor and remained the sassy, high-spirited person everyone loved. No
matter how she was feeling, she always made room at her table and in her heart for anyone that
needed it. She always filled the room with lots of laughter and lots of love. Even though she is no longer
with us, her light continues to shine bright in the memories and lessons that she taught her children and
grandchildren.
