Obituary for David Walker DeCoste

David Walker DeCoste, 70, of Carver, MA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 29th, 2021 surrounded by his loving children after a brave battle with cancer. David was born in Milton, MA on May 24th, 1950. Son of the late Harold and Stella DeCoste and husband of the late Debra DeCoste. David is survived by his son Michael DeCoste and his wife Sarah DeCoste of South Yarmouth, MA and his son Matthew DeCoste of Weymouth, MA.

David was a talented musician and won several battle of the bands competitions as a young man. He studied business at Stonehill College. After college, he joined the Army and was stationed in Germany. After serving in the military, he became a proud business owner of two furniture stores; Kahians Furniture and T.D. Whitney's. Some of David's fondest memories include taking trips to Disney World with his children. He had a green thumb and loved to garden and work in the yard. He will be remembered for his kind and generous soul.

His funeral services will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth, MA on Friday April 2nd. Calling hours will be open to the public from 10 AM to 11 AM. A ceremony will be held by family and close friends at 11 AM. Burial to follow in the Hanover Center Cemetery.
