Obituary for Dominic Xavier Vantangoli

Dominic (Dom) Vantangoli, passed away Sunday, October 13th surrounded by his family and closest friends. Dominic had recently sustained injuries riding motocross which was further complicated by his battle with cystic fibrosis.

Dom was born on July 9th, 1994 (794) with Cystic Fibrosis, but that never stopped him from accomplishing his goals, he had a passion for Motocross. He raced in several states across the country, the place he loved to ride the most was Southwick, MX. He loved dirt bikes, cars/trucks and anything that was loud and fast. Recently Dominic had discovered his true purpose for life, where he wanted to bring awareness and a limelight to the Cystic Fibrosis disease. He recently became a “Daddy” to a 10 pound chihuahua named “Smokey” who would ride with him to the waterfront to get his daily coffee. Smokey would also tag along to the races and wear his Daddy’s jersey imprinted with Dom’s number 794.

Dom is Survived by his mother Amy Leigh Vantangoli, and Step Father/riding buddy Timothy Sims. His father Erik B. Lane all of Plymouth, Massachusetts. His bruvy Jo Jo Vantangoli of Plymouth. Grandmother Priscilla MacLeod of Kingston. Grandfather Steven Vantangoli of Jasper, New York. Grandfather Clayton Clements of Plymouth. Great Grandparents Stuart and Nancy MacLeod of Plymouth. His Uncle/Best Friend Derek Vantangoli of Kingston. His Aunt Mande Peterson and Uncle Oz Lemens of Fort Worth, Texas. Many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and his MotoCross Family from all over.
