He earned a degree in accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1964 and proudly spent his entire professional career working for the JCPenney Company, first in New York City and then in Plano, Texas, until his retirement in 1998.

An avid runner, Donald completed multiple marathons including the famed NYC annual event. He was also a founding member of the Sayreville Road Runners Club. Until late last summer, he logged many thousands of miles and made a point of running or walking nearly every day, irrespective of the weather. His favorite hobbies were reading, fishing, and boating.

At his request, his remains will be cremated and a private family service is being planned for the future.

A virtual memorial is being planned for Sunday January 10 at 2:00 (EST). Details will be made available shortly.
