Obituary for Francis Joseph DeRose
Eastham, MA- Francis J. DeRose, formally of Longmeadow MA who resided in both Eastham MA and Grove Isle FL, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family.
Francis leaves behind the love of his life of 60 years, Roseann. In addition to his wife, he survived by his 4 children, Dayna Nadelman (Richard), Dawn Hammett (Dana), Darcy LaVangie, and Fran DeRose (Michelle), and his grandchildren Stefanie, Nick, Christian, Sophia, Kadenn, Noah and his puppy dog Sammy. He is also survived by his siblings Michael and Bob, and Marilyn DeRose.
Francis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who crossed his path. An extremely active and energetic person who never stopped with an infectious passion for life. He enjoyed taking long walks on the beach, oystering, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
A celebration of life to be determined at a later date. Memorial gifts can be made to Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod Health.
