I was sorry to hear about Jenny's passing - I have many fond memories of her from my early days growing up during the summers in Marshfield to the time she came to my parents house in Quincy in the mid-80's while I was in the Marines to remove staples I had following shoulder surgery. Her visit allowed me to stay home a couple of weeks longer!

She and Pat were good friends to my parents and my brothers and I were blessed to have them both in our lives. Please know we will keep Jenny and the Cahill Family in our thoughts and prayers - all the best -Mike Dunford

I have so many memories of Mrs. Cahill. The first time I met her she was battling gypsy moths in their yard. A force to be reckoned with. I met the Cahill’s in California and have rarely missed a summer in Marshfield over the last 30 years. Mrs. Cahill (I never could call mothers by their first names) always welcomed me, and later my kids to just join the huge family gatherings. I was so impressed when she could feed a herd with pasta, butter, and Parmesan cheese, making me think of Strega Nona’s pasta pot. She was a class act, gracious and welcoming always, and much loved by everyone. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to all of the Cahill’s.

One of my great memories that holds true as a little girl was Ginny (my godmother) teaching me how to swim, for some reason we were at Wollaston beach not Marshfield, not sure why , but that was a memory from a young age. I have many good memories of Ginny I believe she also inspired me to become a nurse. Ginny was a beautiful person, and always made my parents laugh. Many good memories my parents shared with Ginny and Pat sitting around our kitchen table.
