James (Jim) Richard D’Alessandro of Kingston, Massachusetts passed away at his home on Saturday, July 10; he was 72 years old.
Jim was born on May 21, 1949 in Quincy, Massachusetts. He graduated from Hingham High School and went on to attend Boston University to study Accounting. Jim married his wife Patricia in 1975 and they welcomed their first child shortly thereafter. When Patricia was 8.5 months pregnant with their second child Jim came home to inform her that he had quit his job and was starting his own business, which he ran until his death. They had a total of 4 children.
Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family, his dog, golf, Disney World and telling long stories.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents Gennaro & Mary D’Alessandro and his oldest daughter Elizabeth Fletcher. He is survived by his wife Patricia D’Alessandro; children Sarah Melvin D’Alessandro, Matthew D’Alessandro, Rachel Troiano and granddaughter Autumn Fletcher.
