Obituary

Jeffrey David Nelson died unexpectedly at the age of 31. He was surrounded by his family at the
time of his passing on September 4, 2020.

Jeff was born in Plymouth, MA, where he was a longtime resident. He most recently resided in
East Falmouth, MA.

Jeff was the beloved son of his father, Andy Nelson and his wife Monica Sullivan, of Plymouth,
MA and his mother Traci Nelson and her fiance Michael Lynch of East Bridgewater.

Jeff is also survived by his siblings, Jordyn Nelson, of Plymouth, MA, Devin Nelson, of
Plymouth, MA, and Cassie Emond of Stoughton, MA; His paternal grandparents, Jeffrey &
Robin Nelson of Plymouth, MA, his maternal grandparents, David & Roxanne Currier of
Halifax, MA; His great grandmother, Phyllis Byles, of Mashpee, MA; the love of his life, Sarah
Armstrong, of East Falmouth, MA; His Uncles & Aunts, David & Renee Currier of Kingston,

Gabriel, of Stoughton, whom he adored. Jeff is also survived by many close cousins & friends.

Jeff was a 2007 graduate of Plymouth South High School. He recently found his true passion in
helping people battle through addiction and transition into a life of recovery. He worked at
Gosnold Cataumet as a lead recovery aide, and had also managed a sober house. He ran recovery
meetings and was very involved in helping many people fight the horrible disease of addiction.
Jeff's many interests included golfing with Dad, bowling with Mom, traveling with his family,
and his special bond with Nana. Jeff was passionate about sports and attended many Boston
sporting events. Because he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan, it inspired his sister
to attend the University of Alabama. He was a great big brother to Jordyn, Devin & Cassie, and
he was an adoring uncle to his niece Emma.

I was so sorry to read about the loss of your son, Jeff and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. To lose a child, a part of your life, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 he feels our pain and even sees our tears. At jw.org we have God’s assurance at John 5:28, 29 that you will have him in your life once again. May all the memories you have give you calm and peace to help you through until God’s promises come true. Again so very sorry for your heartache.🌻

I love you so much Jeff. Whenever I hear the thunder I will know it's you bowling strikes, and when there is lightening it's Tim throwing the ball off the lane and breaking a light, haha. I miss you bud. Thanks for being such an amazing person.
