Jill became a dedicated and much loved teacher of young children for over 25 years., at the Sandwich Village Preschool and Forestdale Elementary School. She so enjoyed walking the trails at the MA Audubon-Ashument Holly Wildlife Sanctuary in Falmouth, enjoying the birds, especially cardinals and all of nature. Jill and Scott loved their pets and rescued several.

Jill's spiritual journey was guided by her involvement in Al Anon and as a cherished sister in the Big Book Sep Study Process. Her strong love and caring helped lead her partner into the AA program, where he succeeded in becoming and remaining sober.
