John "Jack" Allen Lynch, Sr. 62 passed away suddenly at his home in Manomet on November 22, 2022. Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years Gail Griswold. He was the beloved son of John H. Lynch, Jr and the late Roberta A. Lynch (Allen) of Plymouth. Jack was the father of Cynthia Eager of Panama City Beach, FL, his stepson James M. Davidson and the late John A Lynch, Jr.
Born in Weymouth March 21, 1960 Jack was raised in Marshfield and then moved to Plymouth where he attended Plymouth Public Schools. He worked most of his life as a carpenter by trade and was recently employed by the Pool Store in Plymouth.
Jack was a proud member of the Plymouth Elks Lodge 1476 for 38 years as well as the Garibaldi and Columbo Clubs in Plymouth. Jack was an avid pool player in the New England American Pool Player Assoc. and enjoyed playing cornhole and horseshoes with his Friday night friends. Jack & Gail's annual 3rd of July Party was the highlight of his summer where grilling, eating, drinking & fireworks on the beach was a must! In his younger years Jack was a competitive motocross enthusiast and enjoyed camping with his family at Myles Standish State Forest along with many trips with the family camping club. He loved summer days hanging at the beach with his wife and friends playing bucket ball and floating in the ocean with a cold beer in his hand.
Jack leaves behind his three sisters Cynthia Bradley of Carver, Karen Ingenito of Plymouth, and Deborah Vecchi and her husband Dennis of Plymouth, as well as 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and an abundance of loving friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother in law Theodore Bradley.
He will be dearly missed by all.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of Bartlett Funeral Home 338 Court St, Plymouth MA. Calling hours will take place Wednesday November 30, 2022 from 11am-1pm. Followed by at 1pm Memorial Service. Interment will be private
