John (Horigan) Stone, 50, of Carver, passed away unexpectedly, in his sleep, on August 31, 2019. He was born, in Fall River, MA on January 14, 1969. He was raised by his parents Paul Horigan (deceased) and Joan Horigan (Thayer). He was predeceased by his brother, Steven. John graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1987. He worked at Fairview Millworks, in Bridgewater, for 25+ years. John raised four wonderful children. John was a talented musician who enjoyed performing in various choral groups and pit bands. John proudly performed with the Tanglewood Chorus during the 4th of July Celebration, in Boston, with the Boston Pops. More recently, John was a proud member of the Providence Singers. John reunited with his high school sweetheart, and soulmate, Julie Stone. They married on Oct 4, 2018. John was raising her 3 young boys as his own. He was planning on adopting them this Fall. John was a wonderful husband and devoted father. He was an unwavering friend. If you were John's friend, you were family, and there was always room for one more. John leaves behind his wife, Julie Stone, and "his boys" Jesse, James, and Josiah, all of Carver. John is survived by his mother, Joan; his daughters Lisa, Courtney, and Shanell; and his son Jason. He is survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and countless friends. He leaves behind his recently found birth mother, Debi; biological sisters, Brenda and Heather; neices, nephews, and cousins. Finding his birth family was one of John's greatest joys and caused his heart to smile. John was an amazing man who will be deeply missed. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who loved him. Family and friends are invited to attend John's Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 29th, at the Commercial Club in East Bridgewater, from 1pm-5pm.
