Obituary for John Thomas Tully

John “Tom” Tully, 76 of Provincetown passed away peacefully on
January 13, 2023.

Tom was born in Providence Rhode Island, son of the late Stuart and
Irene (Loranger) Tully.
Tom leaves a daughter Deborah Kleber, and her husband Russell, and
two grandchildren.
Brothers, Richard J. Tully and his wife Margaret, Michael F. Tully and his
wife Gloria, and a sister Kathleen Notis and her husband John.
Tom is predeceased by a brother Stuart L. Tully, and two sisters,
Barbara Lamoureux, and Beatrice Tully.

After attending Tantasqua High School in Sturbridge Tom enlisted in
The United States Navy in 1963. Tom was stationed in California and
Hawaii, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

After the Navy Tom was taken on as an apprentice as a carpenter by his
brother-in-law Alfred “Al” Lamoureux. Tom was most grateful to Al for
showing him everything he knew about carpentry.

Tom moved to Provincetown in the 1980’s and loved there for the
remainder of his life. Here he enjoyed growing Big Boy tomatoes in his
garden, creating stained glass, and visiting with his beloved friends
Raymond, Jen, Teddy, Hal, and Rocco.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church,
Charlton, Ma. Saturday February 4, 2023, at 10:00 am.
Burial will take place at Westridge Cemetery, Charlton at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, if you see a veteran, please thank
them for their service.
