Obituary for Jonathan Fontes Sr.
Jonathan Mariano Fontes Sr died on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the age of 68.
He was born in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth Carver High School in 1970. He was the son of the late Fay Malaguti Fontes and the late John Joseph Fontes. He is survived by his son Jonathan Fontes Jr and fiancée Lisa Daley of Plymouth, his daughter Alissa King and husband Robert King of New Bedford, He is also the the former husband of Betty fontes of Plymouth, MA. He leaves behind his long time girlfriend, Tammy Rossi of Kingston, as well as his grandchildren; Gabrielle, Keenan, Mallory and Ashlyn, along with many cousins.
Jonathan worked at the County Courthouse for many years and most recently the Hampton Inn Hotel. He enjoyed being a member of the American Legion, his collection of hats, he was a car enthusiast, being a graduate of the Northeast Clown Institute as Jumbo the Clown, spending time with his family and long time girlfriend and socializing with friends and acquaintances.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, a private family service will be held with burial with the Bartlett funeral home, 338 court street Plymouth MA 02360
