Obituary for Joseph Kent Gibbons
Joseph K. Gibbons passed away peacefully at home on September 10, 2021. He grew up in Weymouth and lived in Randolph with his brother and best friend, Danny, for over 30 years.
Joseph was born September 16, 1957 in Quincy to Virginia (McCarthy) Gibbons Gallahue and Charles Joseph Gibbons. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers, Gary Gibbons and James Gibbons.
He is survived by brother Charles Gibbons and his wife Sheila, of Plymouth, his sister Kathleen Fennell and her husband Barry, of San Diego, CA, his brother Daniel Gibbons of Randolph, his sister Christine DiTullio and her husband Joe, of Plymouth and his brother Mark Gibbons of Brockton. He is also leaves behind by many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
Joe was a lifelong member of the Cold Spring Club. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and was an amazing cook. He was an Electrician, by trade and was always happy to help out friends.
Arrangements will be under the care of Bartlett Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4-6pm. Burial will be private.
