Judith A. Gonsalves, of Wareham, MA died Friday May 7, 2021 peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and children. Born in Cambridge MA, she was the daughter of the late Marion Cousins (Stickney) and step-father Bernard Cousins and father John Lyons. She is survived by her husband John Gonsalves of Wareham; son Philip Molloy and wife Nicole Molloy of Marshfield; daughter Kathleen Crompton and husband Nick Crompton of Wareham; and daughter Eileen Molloy and husband Kevin Grant of Marion; seven grandchildren AJ, Kevin, Samuel, Lenora, Nathaniel, Finnegan and Alexander; her siblings Eileen Polakoff of Lakeville and John Lyons of Sudbury.
Judith was raised in Hopkinton, MA and attended Marian High School class of 1969. She earned degrees from Framingham State College and Boston College, briefly lived in Minneapolis, MN, enjoyed traveling cross country and abroad, was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She was a born giver with incredible kindness and a compassionate commitment to her work with Cranberry Hospice as a social worker. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street. Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 15, 2021 10:00am – 1:00pm at the funeral home, followed by a memorial service to honor the life of Jude.
