Obituary for Kathleen A Richardson (Richardson)

On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Kathleen Ann Richardson lost her courageous two
year battle with cancer. Kathy was born in Boston on March 7th 1965 and she grew up in
Whitman with her parents and siblings. She was a 1983 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High
School in Brockton Ma.

For the last ten years, Kathy worked as a kind and devoted home health aid. She has
resided in Marshfield by the ocean where she took great pride in her home, where she loved
spending time with her three children, her granddaughter and many friends and family
members.

Kathy could be found cheering on Tom Brady and the Patriots during football season
and spending peaceful, quiet nights in her backyard flower gardens, talking and laughing around
the fire pit and enjoying sunsets and sunrises from her bedroom window. She also loved
sunbathing, dancing to live music, kayaking, and camping.

Kathy is survived by her three loving children; Michael Sturge and Aryn Morcom of
Reading, VT., Ryan Sturge and Danielle Cadieux of Middleborough, MA and Amanda Sturge
and Brian DaSilva of Wareham, MA. Kathy is also grandmother to Gracie, 8 yrs old, and Peyton
who was born just days after Kathy’s passing.

Kathy will be dearly missed by her devoted parents John and Roberta Richardson of
Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by her sister Jeanette O’Leary of Unity N.H. and her
husband Jeff, her brother Ken Richardson and Elaine Cordeiro of Plympton, MA., her sister
Christine Sealey of Plymouth, MA and her husband Ray, her sister Patty Niles of
Weymouth,MA, and her husband Bob, her brother Michael Richardson and his wife Erin of
Plymouth, MA. Kathy is also survived by 8 nieces, 3 nephews and countless friends and
extended family members. Kara Welstead of Atlanta GA. who was a lifelong friend, supported
Kathy with love throughout her battle. We will all miss Kathy's radiant smile and infectious laugh.

Celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at a later date.
