Obituary for Kathy Ann Lyden
Kathy resided in Pembroke, MA. She passed away at home unexpectedly on Monday, September 28, 2020.
Kathy was born Kathy Ann Sylvester January 19, 1973, daughter of Karen Sylvester of Pembroke, MA. and Bruce Sylvester Sr. of Florida.
She will be sadly missed by her four beautiful, loving children, Marco Sylvester, Katelyn Lyden, Jack Lyden and Victoria Lyden.
Kathy leaves behind her brother Bruce Sylvester Jr. and his wife Paula Sylvester of Halifax, MA., her brother Brien Sylvester of Pembroke, MA. and her brother Barry Sylvester. She also leaves behind her sidekick Randy, the Sheltie dog that lived with her and referred to her as “Sissy”.
Kathy is also survived by her two nieces, Samantha Sylvester and Arianna Sylvester and her nephew Michael Sylvester, many cousins, as well as many friends and work associates.
Kathy loved having fun, partying, music, dancing, playing games (her favorite board game was Sorry). She loved all sorts of activities like bowling, miniature golf, kayaking, croquet and skiing. She was always ready to try anything so long as it had to do with fun.
She enjoyed entertaining, cooking, sewing, and arts and crafts. Kathy loved working in the yard and planting flowers, vegetables.
We will remember Kathy for all these things but she’ll be remembered mostly for her big heart and beautiful smile.
Visitation for the public will be held at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. on October 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A private memorial service will be held for family members.
In lieu of flowers a Go Fund Me account has been set up on behalf of her children to assist with living expenses, college funds, etc.
