Obituary for Kenneth E Hodges

Kenneth Hodges, age 84, of Plymouth, MA passed away on May 1, 2019. He was born in Quincy on October 27, 1934, the son of the late Marie Parmenter and Harold Hodges. Ken is survived by his loving wife of over 35 years, Sandra (McClelland). He also leaves behind his son’s Jeffrey & Scott Hodges, his stepchildren Michael, Mitchell, Lee & Scott Therrien.
He graduated from North Quincy High in 1952, later attending Berdett Business College. He served in the United States Navy where he was stationed in Dalberg, VA. After leaving the Navy, he opened Kentron Machine Shop, with his friend and business partner Ron Davis.
Ken loved fishing on Cape Cod Bay in his boat “Reel Fun” with George. He also loved to travel, take cruises, and was known to stop at a casino. He loved Boston Sports, and golfing with Pat & John.
Ken loved being a founding member of the Tyrod’s Auto Club, (over 60 years). Ken greatly appreciated his close friendship with Dom.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Richard & David, and his daughter, and Linda. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
