Obituary

Kenneth Trainer, Age 71 The son of the late Edward Trainer and Lorraine Trainer of Rockland, MA. The family moved from Quincy to Rockland where Ken attended the Rockland school system, and later the Hanover Vocational School.

Preceded in death by his 2 sisters Lois Trainer, and Elizabeth Trainer. Ken is survived by his 2 children Kristen Trainer and Gregg Trainer, both of Plymouth, MA., and 1 grandchild Cody Trainer as well as his brother, Larry Trainor of Pembroke.

Ken joined the Holy Family Defenders drum corp. where he learned to play the drums, his love of music would define much of his life. He played in several bands in the 70s & 80s until multiple sclerosis slowed his music career down. Ken is remembered for his very funny sense of humor and many friends that he kept in touch with over the years.

Services will be private

The family would like to recognize the staff at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, the kind, caring assistance of Hospice Services of MA. A special thank you to Mark Alexander and Jon Leonard

I went to school with Ken. It was a pleasure to know him. Such a talented person. Use to love to watch him on the drums at school dances. So glad I got to visit him a few times in the passed few years. He will be missed, but he is now at peace. God bless you Ken

I am deeply saddened by this news. I send my sincere sympathy to his family that he loved so much. Rest in Peace Ken, you are now starting your own band in heaven with your best friend....
