Obituary for Kimberly Walsh

Kimberly Ann Walsh, 57, of Plymouth Massachusetts, passed away on September 2, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Quincy MA, the daughter of Susan Hurd Walsh.

Kim grew up in Whitman, graduating from Whitman Hanson High School, class of 1984. She was an athlete in high school; lettering in softball, basketball, and soccer. After graduating from high school, she went to Bentley College where she was the president of her sorority, Phi Beta Tau. She earned her bachelor's degree in Finance. Upon graduation, she went to work for State Street Bank in Quincy. She soon moved to Plymouth, became a partner at Walsh Appraisal Service, and became a real estate salesperson for Options 153.

Kim loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, singing karaoke, spending time with her dogs, anything competitive in nature, and networking with colleagues.
Kim is survived by her loving family. She leaves behind her adoring mom, Susan, as well as her loving siblings; Kelly Walsh, Kristen Utera, and her husband, Marc Utera, Bernard Peters, and his wife, Kit George, and Shawn Peters. She left behind her nieces and nephews who adored her; Avery, Addi, Teigen, Morgan, Kai, Bella, Cullen, and Lilly, as well as her beloved cat, Stoli. She also leaves behind her aunts, Dorothea Rober, and Beverly Hurd as well as many beautiful cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Walsh, her uncle Charles Hurd, her cousin, Brad Hurd, and her two dogs, Basil, and Pepper.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, September 9th from 1-4 p.m. Words of remembrance will be held at the funeral home at 4:00 to conclude services.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the American Legion, 199 Federal Furnace Road, at 1:00 PM
