Obituary for Linda Darsch (Barufaldi)

Linda Arlene (Barufaldi) Darsch, 72, of Plymouth, MA passed on March 13th, surrounded by love after a long chronic illness.
She was born in Plymouth, graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School in 1967, and received her RN from Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing in 1970. Linda was a registered nurse for 51 years with the majority of her time at Newfield House. She made many life-long friends that she dearly cherished as well as touching the many lives of patients she so loved taking care of.
Linda enjoyed traveling, crocheting, puzzles, trips to the casino, and spending time with her many family and friends. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and loved celebrating holidays. She took such joy in making tortellini or “tootalings” as our family called them, dining with friends as well as making sure her hair and nails were also done to perfection.
Linda was a devoted and loving mother to all her pets, especially her current dog, Reba who was her world.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Angela M. (Darsch) Cabrera and husband Estaban E. Cabrera, her son Michael D. Darsch and wife Megan E. (Callahan) Darsch, as well as her beautiful and loving grandchildren; Triston Cabrera and Evelyn and Olivia Darsch. Linda is survived by her brother Harold H. Barufaldi and wife Carol (Halunen); along with several nieces & nephews that include numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, and their families as well as many friends and extended family members. She was the wife of the late husband Stephen G. Darsch, daughter of the late Harold J. and Enis Barufaldi, and sister to the late Karen A. (Barufaldi) Burton.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visiting hours are from 5 pm to 7 pm Thursday, March 17th, at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday at St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth. Burial will be in Plymouth County Cemetery.
