Obituary for Lucy Martha Gilli
On Sunday, February 23, 2020, Lucy Gilli, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 91.
Lucy was born on October 27, 1928 in Whitman, MA to Mabel and Philip Jordan. She attended Whitman High School and worked in the catering business. On June 1, 1952 , she married John (Jack) R Gilli. Together they raised their three children, Joanne, Luanne and John in Plymouth, MA.
Lucy had a heart of gold and loved helping friends, family and members of the community. She loved socializing, playing cards, cooking, following Boston sports teams and was always the life of the party. She was kind, generous, compassionate and always had a positive attitude and never complained. Her family meant everything to her.
Lucy was preceded in death by her father, Philip, her mother, Mabel, her many siblings, her husband, Jack and her grandson, Tommy. She is survived by her children, Joanne, Luanne, John and his wife Rachel and her grandchildren, Timmy, Heather, David, Hannah, Jordan, Abigail and Debbie and great grandchildren, Krista and Ashlynn.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 1st from 1-3 pm. Interment will be private.
