Lucy loved life, family, her animals, but most of all she loved Frank. I knew after my first training class at CRD that Charles River needed Lucy and gratefully she was hired soon after. Lucy was not just my co-worker she was a dear friend. Lucy had presence, when she was in the room, she was a true force of nature. I will miss you dear friend, I know that you are with Frank enjoying a Manhattan with the good cherries.

I am so deeply sad to hear of Lucy's passing. She was truly a bright and shining soul, who I so enjoyed knowing through the years at CRD.... she always had a smile and warm hello - and usually a funny remark. There are no words to adequately express my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

My experience with Charles River began by attending 'Charles River University'. Upon our first class, my newly introduced cohorts and I had some trepidation in learning in short order a complex, deeply intricate platform - mainly due to the rumored difficult tests that were required to be passed. Then Lucy walked in, and with great charm and warmth, she introduced herself and spoke of her confidence in our ability to learn the platform. She was both guide and supporter through those classes, making the task ahead of us far less daunting. Over the following years, I might pick up one of the 'CRU' guides to refresh my memory on some nugget and could hear her voice patiently and kindly walking us through the arcane process. I imagine she will continue to play that role for many of us for years to come.

I haven't been this sad since the passing of my father in 2016. Lucy was a remarkable person and I always enjoyed conversations with her. She was always available to help no matter what. She will be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Thank you Lucy for all that you have done in CRD!
