Obituary for Lucy Marie Sanel
Lucy-Marie Anderson Sanel, aged 70, died August 10, 2020 at home in Plymouth, MA.
Lucy was born in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late Dolores Stewart Riccio and Robert Howard Anderson and sister to the late Charles Sundance Anderson.
Lucy is survived by her step-children Alison Prescott and her husband Shane Prescott of Schenectady, NY, Katharine Sanel of Austin, TX, Rachell Kerr and her husband Jerry Kerr of Londonderry, NH, Kim and Ruben Diaz of Dunstable, MA and David Sanel of Chapel Hill, NC. She was a loving grandmother to Jake and Olivia Prescott, Nate and Celia Kerr and Nadi Diaz.
Lucy worked for the last 17 years at Charles River Development in Burlington, MA.
Lucy was a bon vivant extraordinaire and will be remembered for her encyclopedic knowledge of film and the Civil War. She spent 20 years married to the love of her life, Frank Sanel, with whom she shared big laughs, their love of road trips, reading, cooking, dancing, musicals and entertaining family and friends.
