Lynda Sullivan, 77, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at her home in Bourne, MA
after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Lewiston, ME, daughter of Archie
and Ellen Rousseau. Sister of late Edmund Rousseau and late Connie (Rousseau) Berry. She
was a graduate of Edward Little High School class of 1962.
She lived in South Easton, MA for over 40 years and recently moved with her loving husband
Bernie to their beach home in Bourne, MA.
She loved the water and would spend hours at the beach swimming in the ocean or any body
of water she could dip her toes in. One of her favorite hobbies was gardening at her homes
in South Easton and Bourne. Her gardens were absolutely beautiful and her love and devotion
showed through. She loved traveling to Florida with her husband in the winters. She also
enjoyed reading and crafting.
She was an adoring wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She was a quiet peaceful person and showed her love through her actions. She was intelligent,
shy, sweet and caring.
She is survived by the love of her life, husband Bernie of 57 years. She was the loving mother
of Michael Sullivan and his wife Heidi of Bridgewater; Robert Sullivan and his wife Caryn of
Middleboro; Brett Sullivan and his wife Kristy of Middleboro and Cheryl (Sullivan) Passanisi
and her husband Michael of Bourne. Grandmother of Jaclyn Torry, Meghan Fager, Ryan Sullivan,
Veronica Sullivan, Ariella Sullivan, Michael Passanisi, Bella Passanisi. Great grandmother of
Bristol Sullivan and Benjamin Torrey.
A Celebration of Lynda’s Life will be held at a later date in the summer.
