Obituary for Lynn Edward Reichel

Lynn Reichel, 80, beloved husband of the late Judith (Blanchard) Reichel for over 50 years, passed away Thursday, March 31st. Lynn was born in Syracuse, NY in 1941. Lynn spent his childhood years on Oneida Lake and in the Syracuse, New York area. Following his marriage, he lived in New York and Ohio before ultimately making his home in Massachusetts. He lived in Marshfield for over 30 years before moving to Kingston for the past 9 yrs.

Remembering him with love are his three daughters and their spouses: Kristen Reichel Moriarty & Joseph Moriarty, Keather Reichel, Kelley Reichel & Virginia Crosa; Six Grandchildren and their Spouses: Ryan & Christina Moriarty, Patrick & Kirsten Moriarty, and Brendon Moriarty, Jasmine Reichel, McKenna Reichel and Maxwell Reichel and his newest great grandson Brady Moriarty; his sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and his nieces and nephews.

Lynn attended Syracuse University and worked in the Restaurant Hospitality Industry working with the Howard Johnson group before owning and operating his own establishment. Throughout his life he was devoted to his family. He loved planning and hosting gatherings, but he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Other interests included golfing, playing cards & bridge. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. He was utmost gentleman filled with integrity. He was, noble, understanding, a great listener, honest, and above all else humble and loyal. It is now his time to rest and reunite with his wife, Judy; his mother, father and sister, and with all who have gone before him.

A celebration of life for Lynn & Judy will be held on Sunday, April 10th from 1-5 pm. For more information please feel free to contact the funeral home.
