Marcia was a lovely friend. We had some great experiences in political campaigns, WTA struggles and even found time for some fun on the Cape. Marcia will be remembered and missed. Barbara Nestor

Marcia was my children's 5th grade teacher, and she was very good at it! She also had the son of Jean B. the year the Jean passed. He had a tough time as a little guy losing his mom. Marcia was very compassionate. I also subbed for her and eventually taught in the same building with her. I remember how much she loved the Cape. Codolences to her family and friends.

Weymouth’s teachers benefitted from Marcia’s brave leadership during the many years she served as our local union’s president. I was fortunate to have a more personal relationship with her when I succeeded her dear friend Mark Shinney as the WTA’s grievance chair and taught with her at AAMS before she retired. My heartfelt condolences go out to those who knew and loved her!

Marcia was a wonderful teacher and friend. I had the opportunity to work with her in my first years of teaching. She offered invaluable advice and kept me laughing every time she would pick up her class in my art room. She touched a lot of lives. Rest easy my dear friend ❤️
