Obituary for Mary Ellen Comer
Maryellen Comer, 66, passed away surrounded by family on October 23rd at MelroseWakefield Hospital. She was the wife of Phil Comer, they shared 8 years of marriage together. They resided in Marstons Mills, MA.
Maryellen was born in Quincy, MA, on September 17th, 1957. She was the daughter of Warren and Joan Barker. Upon graduating from Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing, she worked many years as a licensed practical nurse.
A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she relished being with her family. She also enjoyed gardening, walking her dogs, and spending time with her feet in the water of the many beaches and ponds of the south shore.
She is survived by her husband Phil, father Warren, sisters Pamela and Carolyn, sons Andy, Tim, and Chris, and her six grandchildren, Maddie, Ben, Evan, Ellie, Jack, and Patrick.
Maryellen will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in Pembroke, MA at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 28th. A remembrance will be held immediately following. Family and friends are respectfully invited, Funeral services are private.
