Palavanchi, Michelle Lee (Wrightington), passed away on November 22, 2018 in Boston, at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born in Kingston, the daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine (Iannucci) Wrightington. She graduated from Silver Lake High School, Class of 1974.
Michelle married Paul Palavanchi on June 13, 1976. They shared a home in Plymouth for the last 42 years. She loved playing Bingo, her Boston Red Sox and being at her pool with her Dunkin’s coffee. Most of all, mom LOVED being with her family and playing with her precious babies. She cherished every single minute with them. We love you, Nuna!
In addition to her husband, Paul, Michelle leaves behind her children; daughter Tammy Berardi and husband, James Berardi of Plymouth, daughter Tina Smith and husband, David Smith of Kingston and son Matthew Palavanchi and wife, Lisa Palavanchi of New Bedford. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Julie, Boston, Stella and Jillian. She is also survived by her brothers; Wayne Wrightington of Plymouth, Kevin Wrightington of Kingston and Artie Wrightington of Kingston, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 27th, from 4:00-7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth on Wednesday, November 28th, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth.
