Nancy Elizabeth Brain, age 76 formerly of Plymouth passed away on May 19, 2020 at BID Plymouth after a short illness from Covid-19. She was born and raised by her loving parents, the late James and Bessie Barbuto. Loving mother survived by Richard J. Brain Jr. and his wife Kimisha, Linda L. Brain and her boyfriend Frank, Timothy J. Brain and his girlfriend Lan, David M. Brain, Jonathon E. Brain Sr. and his wife Debbie. Cherished grandmother to Alycia, Rachael, Emily, Rebecca, Benjamin, Joshua, Nicole, Danielle, Matthew, Meaghan, Madelyn, Hannah, Jonathon, and Andrew. Beloved great-grandmother to Brooklyn. She was preceded in death by her brother James (Jimmy) Barbuto and sister Carolyn Alvarez. She is also survived by her cousins Al and Bobby Marobella and their children. She was the beloved aunt to her niece Kelly Alvarez Dovidio and nephew Steven Alvarez. Also survived by her best friend since high school, Margie.
Nancy was survived by her ex-husband Richard J. Brain Sr. She graduated from Weymouth High School then worked for Sullivan Tire for many years. She then, dedicated her life to raising her family.
Nancy will be remembered for her amazing loving personality. Above all her love for God. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her loving children, adoring grandchildren and great-grand child. She took great pleasure in the simple things in life such as a visit from family members and friends, long phone calls with her kids and grandkids, a bottle of ginger-ale, sweet treats, listening to news on CNN, watching Law and Order Special Victim Unit, etc. She was a loyal fan to the New England Patriots and obsessed with Elvis Presley and Tom Brady.
She will be remembered and missed by so many.
A private graveside service will be held at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton MA on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 10:00am.
