Obituary for Nikolas Paul Amick
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Nikolas Paul Amick of Wareham, MA. Nik passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2021 after a long battle with Type 1 diabetes.
Born on December 26, 1998, Nik was a cherished son, father, brother, grandson and friend. Nik will be remembered for his kindhearted and giving soul, his beautiful eyes and smile along with a gentle love and desire to be loved. He took pride in his appearance, enjoyed working with people and loved his job. Nik also had a passion for cars and video games.
Nik leaves a son, whom he loved more than life, Benjamin A. Amick, who is 4 years old and lives with his mother, Selina Perez in New Bedford, MA. Nik will be greatly missed by his parents, Danielle Petrone Amick of Wareham, MA and Paul C. Amick of Plymouth, MA. He also leaves behind three brothers; Cory Amick and Taylor Fernandes, both of Wareham, MA and Parker Fernandes of Chicago, IL. Maternal grandmother, Dona Blair Bennett, step grandfather John (Fran) Bennett, both of Naples, FL and paternal grandmother, Mary Dellesece of Plymouth, MA along with special family members Sandra Dann, Emily Priolo and many aunts, uncles, cousins and cherished friends. Nik was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael A. Petrone of Brockton, MA.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 20th from 2-4 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will follow at the Grace Lighthouse Fellowship, 3065 Cranberry Hwy, East Wareham, MA. A private burial will follow at a later date.
