Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same.

My cousin Patty’s father and my father were brothers. We both lost our fathers much too soon. I lost touch with Patty many years ago but with the appearance of Facebook, we got back in touch with each other and Brian. We all agreed to get together soon but somehow that never materialized, life being so busy for most of us, not to mention how far flung from each other we are. My very vivid memories of Patty were her sweet, sweet view of people and life in general. Patty was always cheerful, light-hearted, and laid back. I can’t help but think about Aunt Louise and how much alike she and Patty were. I think Patty even sounded just like Aunt Louise! It is my great loss that I didn’t keep up with Patty through the years and all I can do is offer my sincere condolences to you, Phil, and your family on the loss of Patty. What a wonderful person she was! I am so sorry she is gone. With love, Kathleen O’Donnell

I have a lot of childhood memories of Patty and her whole family growing up together and going to school together. Her brother Bobby and my husband Joe were very close friends. I too lost my husband to Gioblastoma in October of 2014. I know how horrible it is to watch. My heart goes out to all our her family. Every October, usually the last Sunday at Castle Island in So. Boston there is a brain cancer walk for those whoo are fighting this disease and those who have passed to raise money towards a cure and awareness. Our first walk was in 2013 when Joe was battling through this disease. Anyone who wants to join us please do. I will be carrying a poster with Patty's name in her honor. July 17th of this year was made National awareness day for brain cancer. God bless you all. Linda Bagley you can find me on facebook if you want more info on the walk. Look for Linda Campbell Bagley
