Obituary for Patricia Anne D'Alessandro (Moran)

Pat was raised in Marshfield, Massachusetts. She graduated from Marshfield High School and attended Boston State. Pat married her husband, Jim, in 1975 and started their family shortly thereafter. After living together in Quincy for a few years, Pat and Jim moved their growing family to Kingston, where she called home until her passing.

Pat was a loving mother, wife, sister, friend, and grandmother. She was an avid and talented quilter whose pieces will be passed down for generations to come. She also donated her time and aptitudes to Quilts For Kids, providing comfort items to those in need. Along with quilting, Pat loved reading mystery novels and was well known at her local library. She worked for Joann Fabric for many years, which allowed her to “die with the most fabric- so she wins!”

Pat was preceded in death by her oldest daughter Elizabeth Fletcher and her husband James D’Alessandro. She is survived by her children; Sarah Melvin D’Alessandro, Matthew D’Alessandro, Rachel Troiano, granddaughter Autumn Fletcher, sister Lynne Goodwin, brothers Joseph & Earl Moran as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 30th at Station 8 in Marshfield, MA from
2-6pm. Please come by to share a memory and raise a glass to Pat.
