Patrick Frye
April 20, 1940 - April 15, 2021
"If you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention!” Patrick often repeated these words. With gentle persevering dignity, he spent much of the latter 40 years of his life fighting for our common cause…protecting all that we cherish and all that we need. Patrick Frye walked woods, fields, and shores…and so many sidewalks…cement, brick, cobblestone, and dirt paths…through communities and neighborhoods, knocking on doors, rallying support to protect the great provider, Mother Earth. He was a humble but intrepid Eco-Justice Warrior…his weapon of choice…his word, his voice, his pen…never failing to persuade with his twinkling eyes, bright smile, and infectious laugh. A warm, sincere, but private man. Proud of both his Celtic and Native American ancestry, yet his life often shrouded in mystery to even his closest family and friends. Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Leigh of Centerville, Massachusetts, his children, grandchildren, and loyal friends. He has passed from this realm, but his spirit lives on in our hearts and all of his favorite haunts.'
