Hughes, Philip, 60, of Plymouth, formerly of Needham, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Edward and Patricia (Murphy) Hughes.
Phil was born in Needham and grew up there. He graduated from Needham High School. After graduating, he got his HVAC license, worked many years in that field, went on to learn the building trade, eventually fulfilling his dream to build their family home.
In his younger years, Phil belonged to a ski club. He was also an avid snowmobiler. He enjoyed going to Florida and he liked to tinker with his many tools.
Phil leaves behind his wife, Susan. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Mia Hughes as well as his step daughters; Saundra, Sabrina and Sydney. He also leaves behind six grandchildren; Chloe, Cali, Mary, Sophia, Benjamin and Harrison. He leaves behind many longtime friends.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 4th, from 12-1:30 pm, with a memorial service at 1:30 pm. Interment will be private.
