Richard John Russo of Marshfield passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2020, at the age of sixty-six. He was the beloved husband of the late Grace (Amy) Russo (Kent). He is survived by his brothers Joseph Russo and Barbara Groff of Huntington Beach, California, Robert Russo and his wife Susan of Brockton, and John Russo and his late wife Kim of East Bridgewater. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Richard was born in Quincy on January 7, 1954, to Elizabeth (Mezzetti) and Joseph Russo. Richard grew up in Quincy and moved to Marshfield after marrying Amy.
Richard worked at Polaroid for over 30 years. He was a member of the Adams Heights Men’s Club in Quincy. He was an avid Grateful Dead fan. Richard enjoyed playing golf, playing cards and going to Foxwoods. He also enjoyed hosting his big annual backyard cookout with Amy that he had for his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
