Obituary for Robert Manuel Hunt
Robert Manuel Hunt, 62, of Kingston, passed away July 15, 2021 from a short battle with cancer. He was son to William D. Hunt Jr., and A. Patricia (Pina) Smith.
Robert attended and graduated from Plymouth Carver High School, Class of 1978. He was married from 1998 until 2007 to Colleen P. Hunt.
Robert was a man of few words, but once you got to know him, it was like he was a whole different person. Robert loved to share time with family, relax when time allowed, and enjoyed a good movie that made him think. As a master of chess, he passed down this hobby to his daughters.
Robert Hunt is survived by his four daughters; Stephanie, Sydnie, Olivia, and Rileigh Hunt. He also leaves his siblings, Lori Spencer of Killeen, Texas, Alan Hunt of Hazel Green Ala., Tracey Hunt of Boston, Keith Hunt of Austin, Texas, and Meclina Murphy of Kingston. Robert leaves a vast amount of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends as well.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, 2021, between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Peter’s Parish at 10:30 am on Friday, July 23, 2021 at 84 Court Street, Plymouth. Interment will be in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
