Obituary for Ronald James Cuneo
Ronald Cuneo, Pembroke, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. He was 82 years old.
Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he is the son of Leonard and Mildred Cuneo. On October 1, 1961 he married the love of his life Kathleen (Curtis) Cuneo beginning their marriage and beautiful life for the next 60 years, living in Pembroke. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. Preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen and son, Paul.
He is survived by his brother, Leonard Cuneo; daughters Theresa Sprague; Nanci Garneau and her husband John; grandchildren Daniel and Devin Foley, Alexander and Nathaniel Sprague, Drew and Emma Garneau, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron loved and lived for his work in the insurance industry. For 45 years he held several positions in the Boston area “wheeling and dealing” as he liked to say. He fiercely loved his family and friends and had a deep love for vacationing in Aruba!
A graveside service will be held for Ron and Kathy Cuneo on Sunday October 8, 2023 at Pembroke Center Cemetery at 12:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm at Christina’s Restaurant 460 Washington St., Pembroke. Please bring your favorite memory to share.
