Russell David Texeira, Age 83, passed peacefully at home in East Falmouth, on April 14, 2022. Russ was
born in New Bedford, the son of Alfred and Lucy (Amaral) Texeira. He is survived by his wife Anita
(Cook) Texeira and children Kenneth Russell, Susan, Lori and David; his sister, Marilyn DeMoura,
husband, Ed and family. Russ was also the brother-in-law of the late Fran (George) Cook, Mary
Reynolds, Lou Cook, Dottie Garvey, Reta Hornbrook, Carol DellaCroce, their spouses and children. Russ
owned and operated Super Lube in Falmouth for 30 years, having left corporate America to spend more
time with family, friends and fishing. His passion and expertise of the water found him exploring and
enjoying Cape Cod and the Islands, Florida Keys, Prince Edward Island, Costa Rica and Alaska. He found
comfort in Scripture, John 14:27. The family would like to thank VNA Hospice of Cape Cod, visits and
calls from family and friends while enjoying his favorite water view from home. Donations in his

A private Celebration of Life and Faith in Jesus will be held at a later date.
