Obituary for Ruth Lorraine Horgan
Ruth Horgan, 70, of Plymouth, entered into eternal rest on September 11, 2021.
Ruth came to live in Plymouth and enjoyed the waterfront and the many people she touched. A part of her remained in the city of her birth, North Cambridge where she joined the Cambridge Police Department and served for over 20 years.
Ruth loved to travel and just take long walks. Her hobbies were many and diverse. Astrology, sewing, knitting, but most of all she loved with all her heart her many nieces and nephews and her dog, Ben.
Ruth will be dearly missed by her sister, Mary Ann Turchinetz and brother in-law George, her brother Arthur Horgan and his wife Robin of Wakefield, nephews Mark and John Turchinetz and his wife Tricia, and niece Danielle Turchinetz. She is also survived by many close cousins, neighbors and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street. Visitation for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, September 15th, from 5pm - 7pm. A funeral mass will be on Thursday, September 16th at 10:30 am at Saint Kateri Church, 126 South Meadow Road, Plymouth, MA. Interment will be private.
