Obituary for Ruth H Petitjean (Hudner)
Ruth H Petitjean, 95, of Naples, Florida and Sandwich, Massachusetts passed away on August 2, 2023 in her home.
Ruth was born on July 10, 1928 to Helen and Edward Hudner in Waterbury Connecticut.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Robert, her daughter Janet Seabury, and sister Joan Dickson.
She lived in Simsbury, Connecticut for most of her life where she raised her three girls and was active in PTA, Girl Scouts, Junior and Senior Woman’s Clubs, Simsbury Summer Theater for Youth, and Civitan. She was named a Simsbury Hometown Hero in 2002. She worked at the Connecticut Bank and Trust and helped open it’s first branch in Simsbury.
She leaves behind her daughters Barbara Petitjean and Nanci Morissette (Arthur), her grandson Kevin Seabury (Tina) and great grandchildren Patrick and Emma and many nieces and nephews.
