My mother valued her friendship with Sally over the years from the time they knew each other in Wilton and the times they shared on the Cape. She and my father considered both Charlie and Sally to be dear friends. My sister, now a teacher, remembers Sally as a favorite substitute teacher! I know her as the woman who provided great comfort and company to my mother over the years, especially following my father's death. I will forever hold her dear to my heart for the comfort, compassion, and genuine friendship that she showed our family. Unfortunately my mom was unable to attend the services for Sally as she has been hospitalized. My sister and I send both our condolences and sincere gratitude for her presence in our lives.
